Fun & accessible lessons where content is driven by the national curriculum

Privately run Italian classes for school years 1-7 (ages 5-12), led by experienced and native Italian speaking teachers

Lesson Structure

Our lesson structure is based on National Curriculum KS2 requirements. Beginner lessons will give pupils an introduction to the Italian language covering basics such as numbers, colours, alphabet, greetings, vocabulary based topics such as the family, hobbies, food etc as well as grammatical concepts such as gender (articles) and basic verbs.

For more advanced groups, the focus will be on in-depth knowledge of the topics and a solid grasp of grammar so that pupils can use and manipulate the language independently.

All groups will practise the language using all four skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing with the aim of preparing the children for language learning at GCSE level.

All teachers are DBS checked and qualified paediatric First Aiders.

Testimonials

"I really enjoy going to Italian school as it's learning Italian in a fun way. The teachers are really nice and helpful and I felt more confident when speaking in Italian to my auntie when I visited her this year. Plus, I've made some really good friends this year and can't wait to learn more next year"  Mariella (year 6)
